MODERN DESIGN OF DENTAKAY ANTALYA DENTAL CLINIC
In 2022, Duman Architects used an ergonomic approach to architectural framing and design for the Dentakay Antalya Dental Clinic in Antalya, Turkey.
Dentakay Oral and Dental Health Polyclinic, which is located in the Lara region of Antalya, aims to modernize the dental field. The total area of the project is 800 m2. The design of the polyclinic arose due to the combination of ten areas of medical care, two of which are surgical.
An impressive patient reception area, where the feeling of a classic health care facility disappears. The planning proposed by architects and designers ensures the proper functioning of all structural units of the polyclinic. Patients can get quick service while waiting to see a doctor.
First of all, comfort is felt for patients and visitors, starting from the reception desk. Smooth waves created at the entrance to the polyclinic invite patients into the space in a more attractive way: the stairs, ceiling and walls have unique accent structural elements.
Sterile conditions are ensured by glass on the walls, and the colors used in the design broke the feeling of “coldness” usual for health care facilities. Smart-screens, which are embedded in glass surfaces, display the name of patients and doctors; motion sensors used during transitions create a holistic operation of the polyclinic.
Flowing forms repeat the dynamics of the interior in all the premises of the polyclinic. While colors become calmer in clinical designs, lines that acquire function through unfolding and twisting ensure that technical functions are properly served.
An elevator that provides movement between all floors, including -1 floor, where the largest surgical department is located. This department is separated so that the patient feels more comfortable. In addition, staff areas, technical rooms, reprocessing and administrative blocks are also on the same floor. On the other side of the first floor is a coffee shop.
At the Dentakay Oral and Dental Health Polyclinic, an effective level of comfort for patients and visitors is ensured, thanks to every detail of the design, which creates a unified concept.
