Reconstruction of the reception department
Objectives:
- Creation of a branch with a European level of providing medical services
- Development of functional interior spaces
- Zoning of the working environment to ensure infection control in the hospital
- Raising standards in emergency medical care
Structure:
- Entrance group for administrative purpose and social infrastructure (reception, waiting area, sorting area, bathrooms)
- A group of diagnostic, examination and treatment rooms (consultative and examination rooms, anti-shock room, manipulation, procedural rooms)
- Chamber section
- A group of auxiliary and utility premises
Task:
- Inspection and assessment of the state of existing premises
- Assessment of the available material and technical support of the department
- Development of architectural and construction solutions based on patient/staff flow routes in accordance with international standards to EMERGENCY departments
- Implementation of new medical technology in relation to indoor spaces for rational use of working areas and patient spaces
- Creating a BIM model
- Creation of the design of the department’s facade and interior spaces
- Compilation of a complete list of medical equipment, fittings and equipment for equipping and further operation of the department at full capacity
- Requirements for furnishing each room
The main task of the reception department is to provide emergency medical care to patients, consisting of a doctor of the reception department (therapist) and doctors on duty from the relevant departments of the hospital hospital (surgeon, otolaryngologist, ophthalmologist, gynecologist, traumatologist, urologist, angiosurgeon, cardiac surgeon, neurologist, anesthesiologists). If necessary, it is possible to strengthen this team with consulting doctors, heads of departments, research staff of departments of the medical academy, medical university.
